For all Resources you must book at least a day in advance, same day booking is not possible. You can book up to a maximum of four days in advance.
What you need to know about booking an individual study or PC space
You are entitled to book one space for each calendar weekday and may make bookings up to four days in advance.
To use the Study Space go to it at the allotted time. You must sit only at your booked space.
Before your visit you may find it helpful to read our guidance about social distancing in the Library.
If the Study Space is not occupied within 30 minutes of the start of a booking it may be reallocated to another user.
Please do not leave personal belongings unattended at the Study Space. You are welcome to bring with you bottled water, all other food and drink must be consumed outside of the library. This to help us to keep the area clean and safe for everyone.
What you need to know about booking a group study room
The person booking the room will be responsible for the room.
There are currently 20 group study rooms available. Please check the room descriptions before booking and comply with the stated maximum occupancy.
Rooms may be booked for group study by University of Leicester students only. They are not available for individual study, teaching, presentations, interviews or for University meetings.
If you require a room for any formal assessment or teaching, please contact your department who should be able to accommodate you.
You are entitled to make one booking of 2-4 hours duration per group, per day and may make bookings up to four days in advance.
If the room is not occupied within 30 minutes of the start of a booking it may be rebooked to another group.
Furniture should not be moved in or out of the room.
